I had stated in my Browser Smörgåsbord entry… “Flock 0.7.6– Mozilla, the same people who brought you Firefox and Netscape also designed Flock, the social web browser.” Turns out the Guru made a bit of mistake as I learned when I received this comment regarding the entry from Will Pate, Community Ambassador, Flock: “FYI, Flock is entirely separate from Mozilla, although we proudly build our web browser on top of Firefox.“ I guess I should have paid more attention to the pop-up when selecting ‘About Flock’, from the Help Menu… Oh yeah, it does say Flock Inc., not Mozilla.
