Mozilla Lightning

One thing many people have complained about in regards to Mozilla Thunderbird is unlike Outlook, it does not have a calendar. Today on CyberNet News I came across this entry: Mozilla Sunbird And Lightning 0.3 RC1 Available. Mozilla Sunbird is a standalone calendar application where as Lightning is a Thunderbird Extension. While I have not yet had a chance to a look at Sunbird, I have installed and started briefly using Lightning. Minefield (Firefox 3.0a1)

In response to my recent Browser Smörgåsbord entry, some folks have asked for a link to get Minefield (Firefox 3.0a1). It took some hunting on the Mozilla FTP server but here is the link to folder with the latest nightly of Minefield: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ Please keep in mind Minefield is still in early development and may not be very stable (this may have improved since the previous nightly I had was from sometime in August).
