Blog Year in Review: May 2007

May 2007, saw the introduction of a new tag and big topic, Ubuntu. The blog entries ranged from getting Ubuntu installed, odd little quirks, more oddities, getting Ubuntu to access my secondary drives and even testing Firefox 3 in Ubuntu. I was looking through my blog stats today and noticed my top post was Fx Wallpapers from last December. That post contained a couple Firefox Holiday/Christmas wallpapers with the old Fx 1.5 logo. A quick visit to Spread Firefox and I found a couple more holiday wallpapers by Jamey. The first two wallpapers incorporates the newer Firefox 2 style ‘globe’ logo (with either Firefox or Firefox 2) while the last wallpaper has both style logos. Click on the image below to be directed to the full size (1024×768) version (in a new Window). Looking for a Christmas Theme for Firefox?…

March 2007, saw big changes for The Blog as well as Addons.Mozilla.Org (AMO) plus some new (and delayed) releases. After dealing with a broken theme only in Firefox (Oh ,the humanity!) for a couple days I ended up doing a major overhaul on the blog. I reverted back to a 2-column theme and created a new custom designed header. I also took the same design and used it to re-skin the blog’s FeedBurner headline animator. Also did some housekeeping with the categories. Nearly nine months later, there hasn’t been any problems with the theme thus far. Well one minor problem…
