Flash Update to fix FF crashing problems?

Maybe this time…

“Adobe has released an updated version of its proprietary Flash Player 11.3 plugin to address a bug that caused Firefox 13 on Windows to crash for some users. The problem is believed to have been related to the recently introduced Protected Mode for the Windows version of Flash Player and the open source web browser; the new mode is designed to isolate the plugin from the rest of the system by running it in its own sandbox… “

    Strange…

It is either a Microsoft problem (probable, by description)
    or
    A flash problem (ibid)…

Either way, it is a patch in Flash, to patch a Microsoft handling problem, caused by an ersatz security ‘fix’ from Microsoft…

    The problem affects Firefox…

    So…

deadstream media headlines Firefox, since blaming Bush is not possible?

  2. The problem is still not fixed and FireFox is losing customers (like me) because of it. FireFox released 1 update. Adobe released 1 update. People installed both updates that would “fix the problem” and they said it was fixed. It isn’t. And a lot of people are now using Chrome or IE as a result. I used to love FireFox, but by leaving the problem unfixed for almost a month is unexcusable. And saying it is fixed when it isn’t is even more unexcusable.
