Microsoft Release IE10 for Windows 7

Microsoft has made Internet Explorer (IE) available now to Windows 7 users. Automatic Windows Updates to IE10 will be coming in the weeks ahead for Windows 7 users. IE10 does not support Windows Vista or XP and Windows 8 users already have IE10. For those who are using Windows 7 and want to get IE10 now, can do so via the Internet Explorer Download Site. Very slow Tablet News week, not really sure why… Canonical Announces New Ubuntu Mobile OS for Tablets – UK based Canonical had already debuted their Ubuntu (Linux) Smart Phones at CES earlier this year. Google’s (overpriced) Touchscreen Chrome Laptop

Google announced today they are going to be releasing a touchscreen Chrome laptop as early as next week. As I started looking over the specs and the prices, I can’t help but think of Apple. For $1300 (Wi-Fi) or $1449 (LTE due in April) you get a laptop with a 12.85-inch touchscreen with 2560 x 1700 resolution, an Intel i5 (dual-core) 1.8 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, 2 USB 2.0 ports and a 32 GB Solid-State Drive and 3-years free 1 TB Cloud Storage. Thunderbird 17.0.3/17.0.3esr Released

Mozilla has released Thunderbird 17.0.3 and 17.0.3esr (Thunderbird for Organizations) on February 19, 2013. As a reminder starting with Thunderbird 17.0.2, Thunderbird is now following the branch numbering of Thunderbird 17.0esr instead of Firefox. Besides security fixes this release also includes a fix for issues removing attachments via the keyboard while composing (Bug 799451). Depending on their update settings (Tools > Options… > Advanced > Update Tab), users will be prompted to update within in the next 48-hours.
