So Microsoft has announced that along with Windows 10 being pushed out on July 29th, so are the MS Office Universal Apps. There has been on again, off again rumors that the next version of the XBox (XBox 720 or Durango) would need an always on Internet connection regardless of what the user is doing. XBox 720 Requires Always On Connection

Seems like Microsoft is getting ready to shoot themselves in the foot again, this time with the forthcoming XBox 720. There has been rumors that it would need an always on Internet Connection so it can ‘phone home’ every 3-minutes.
