Apparently, Mozilla Messaging had released Thunderbird 3 beta 3 back on July 21st. Usually, there is plenty of news about Thunderbird 3 developmental releases, however for reasons unknown there was no post on David Ascher’s Blog. Even odder was with this week’s Mozilla Project Status Meeting for Thunderbird 3 was no report. A huge milestone has been reached today with the Firefox download counter rolling over to 1 Billion (that is 1 with nine zeros at the end!) To think, a little under a year and half ago (February 22, 2008) Firefox had just reached the 500 Million Downloads milestone.
