Mozilla has released the 14th stability and security update for the Firefox 3 browser. Automatic upgrade (for those who have this feature enabled) should occur within the next 24-48 hours. Firefox 3.5.3 introduced a new feature which would check the Adobe Flash Plugin upon first restart after installing the update. Mozilla is working on getting a ‘Plug-in Check’ page launched later this month that users can visit to check their plug-ins status. Firefox 3.5.3 was released on September 10th. This release addresses three critical security vulnerabilities. This is the first Firefox release which will check for out-dated plugins. However, at this Firefox will only be checking to see if your Adobe Flash Plugin is current.
