Thunderbird September Release Cycle Merges Completed

After some minor delays, Mozilla has pushed out Thunderbird 7.0 on the Beta Channel on August 26th. Also on August 17th, Thunderbird 8.0 was pushed out the Earlybird Channel and Thunderbird 9.0 out to the Daily Channel. You can move to the next version within your channel (Thunderbird 8 Daily to Thunderbird 9 Daily) by going to Help > About Thunderbird (or Earlybird or Daily). If you want to update manually you can get the builds here: Beta – Thunderbird 7.0 Earlybird/Aurora  – Thunderbird 8.0 Daily/Shredder – Thunderbird 9.0

Firefox 3.6.21 and 6.0.1 Released

On Tuesday, August 30th, Mozilla pushed out emergency updates for both Firefox 3.6 and 6.0. These updates revoke the root certificate for DigiNotar due to fraudulent SSL certificate issuance [Additional Details]. Firefox 3.6 users can update via Help > Check For Updates. Firefox 6.0 users can update via Help > About Firefox.
