Mozilla has released the 17th stability and security update for the Firefox 3 browser. For more information about What’s New in Firefox 3.0.17, check out the Firefox 3.0.17 Release Notes. Current Firefox 3 users may obtain Firefox 3.0.17 manually via the Check for Updates… option from the Help menu. For those needing more screen space, starting with the Beta 5 Release of Firefox 3.6, Windows users can now hide the Menu Bar. To hide the Menu Bar, right-click on an empty area in the toolbars and uncheck Menu Bar to hide. If you need to access the menu bar, simply press the ALT key and the menu bar will re-appear temporarily. Some users may have noticed that YouTube videos can be slightly ‘jumpy’ in Firefox. Cain’t say I have or have not noticed this issue, may be I just thought it was normal. Anyway this problem started with Firefox 2 which introduced the Session Restore feature. Many users, myself included, visit YouTube on an almost daily basis.
