After some minor delays, Mozilla has pushed out Thunderbird 7.0 on the Beta Channel on August 26th. Also on August 17th, Thunderbird 8.0 was pushed out the Earlybird Channel and Thunderbird 9.0 out to the Daily Channel. You can move to the next version within your channel (Thunderbird 8 Daily to Thunderbird 9 Daily) by going to Help > About Thunderbird (or Earlybird or Daily). On Tuesday, August 30th, Mozilla pushed out emergency updates for both Thunderbird 3.1 and 6.0.
