A quick follow-up on the How To Uninstall/Downgrade Thunderbird 115 (Supernova) post. Since removing Thunderbird 115 aka Super Nova, I have not experienced any other freezes/crashes on my main machine. Again, that issue appeared to be caused by having repeating events in the calendar.

While there are still some known issues with the Windows 11 22H2 update, most of the ‘safeguards’ have been removed. The latest safeguard Microsoft Corporation 426,89 +1,69 +0,40% has removed was manly impacting gamers using NVIDIA GeForce GPUs. Once in a while Firefox or Thunderbird does not close gracefully. This could be caused by the application crashing or simply the application didn’t do some “housekeeping” after it closed. You go to run Firefox or Thunderbird and you get the message it is already running, but it is not. The majority of the time, going into the Windows Task Manager via Control+Shift+Esc and clicking the Processes tab you will find firefox.exe or thunderbird.exe listed.
