Mozilla to deliver Ligthning functionality to OpenOffice.org

Sun Microsystems Logo I am really excited to see Mozilla partnering with Sun Microsystems to add Mozilla’s Lighting functionality in the future to OpenOffice.org (OOo). For those not familiar with Mozilla Lighting, it is a Thunderbird extension which adds the currently missing calendar and scheduler features to Thunderbird. This is going to give OOo an edge over Microsoft as presently OOo does not have scheduling/calendar functionality.
