Cute. But I have a wish. I wish everyone who complains about Vista would say whether they loaded it onto a machine suitable for XP, or if the they have the 2.13ghz processor and 2gb of ram necessary to run Vista well and fast. I do and have no complaints at all.

  3. I really like Vista; I have no problems with it at all. I’m using a computer with 2gb RAM and a 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo T5450. 🙂 I did tweak Vista to look more like XP (that Areo feature was annoying to me), but other than that, I use it pretty much as-is.

  4. I’ve been using Vista since October when I had to get a new computer. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, especially once I learned how to disable the UAC. The system I got has:

    AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4400+ • 2.3GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache, 2000MT/s System Bus w/ 2GB RAM

The only couple gripes I have about Vista is gaming performance is not as good as it was on my XP system. I am not sure if upping the full 4 GB of RAM is going to make that much of a difference. Plus for some odd reason I can not get rid of non-responsive programs, they just refuse to shut down without having to reboot.
