There had already been talks about a delay of a day or two from the planned June 24th release date for Firefox 2.0.0.15. Originally this was due to slow check-in on patches which had delayed the initial code freeze. However, because of the Firefox 3 Vulnerability from earlier this week (that also affects Firefox 2), the release schedule for Firefox 2.0.0.15 now has the final release as July 1st. It amazes me, just how many add-ons there are now for Firefox. Because of these add-ons is one of the reasons Firefox has become so popular. On Thursday, June 12th two new versions (3.4.3 & 3.4.4) of AMO were pushed out. As mentioned in the Releases Recap: June Week 2 post, these new versions would have improved search capabilities.
