I started using 3.1b1 when it first came out in beta, and now 3.1b2. It’s simply amazing . . . except that my good old Greasemonkey hasn’t been updated to work with it. I’ve looked everywhere to find out why not, and as far as I can tell, the lead developer hasn’t been updating since about June.
Any idea what the problem is? Any chance we’ll get gm for FF3.1* any time soon?
I was able to get GreaseMonkey to work by forcing it to install via the Nightly Tester Tools
Thanks a million! I’m trying it right now, and come back to report success or failure.
Yesss! W00T! Those enormous banners that take up half my tiny screen: gone again at last. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Nightly Tester Tools is a must if you are going to be playing with the nightly or beta releases.
is the script that renders the snowflakes on this site a promotion for ff3.1? I just think it’s a bit disturbing to have 100% cpu load when displaying this page (on linux). at leats in the 3.1 you can change the tab to make it stop…
