Mozilla has pushed out Beta 2 for Firefox 6 on the Beta channel. If you are already using Firefox 6 Beta 1 go to Help > About Firefox to update to Beta 2. Otherwise you may obtain Firefox 6.0b2 from the Future of Firefox page. Firefox 6.0 is scheduled for final release on August 16th, 2011.

Some progress to report on the future of Win64-Bit Firefox as reported on CNET News Deep Tech. I was able to get a hold of an unofficial Beta Release for Thunderbird 6 earlier today. I had no issues pasting via right-click into the link field on the link tab when inserting an image. So it appears this was a glitch within Thunderbird 5.0 only. As a reminder Thunderbird 6.0 will be released on August 16th.
