On November 11, 2011, Mozilla has pushed Thunderbird 10 on to the Earlybird Developmental channel. Please be aware there are two issues concerning this release that may affect users:

• The Add-on Comparability Reporter is not working correctly (also applies to Firefox 10 Aurora). Users will need to go into Thunderbird’s about:config (Tools > Options… > Advanced – Config Editor…) and add the following Boolean preference: extensions.checkCompatibility.10.0a and set it to FALSE. Restart Earlybird and your extensions should be enabled again
• Lightning users need to manually update to Lightning 1.2a2.

Thunderbird 10.0 is scheduled for release on January 31st, 2012.
