Microsoft has made Internet Explorer (IE) available now to Windows 7 users. Automatic Windows Updates to IE10 will be coming in the weeks ahead for Windows 7 users. Google announced today they are going to be releasing a touchscreen Chrome laptop as early as next week. As I started looking over the specs and the prices, I can’t help but think of Apple. For $1300 (Wi-Fi) or $1449 (LTE due in April) you get a laptop with a 12.85-inch touchscreen with 2560 x 1700 resolution, an Intel i5 (dual-core) 1.8 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM, 2 USB 2.0 ports and a 32 GB Solid-State Drive and 3-years free 1 TB Cloud Storage. A reminder support for Firefox 10.0esr branch ended with the release of Firefox 10.0.12esr released on January 8, 2013. Organizations should have moved over to the 17.0esr branch during the 6-week support “grace period” (November 20th to January 8th).
Mozilla has released Thunderbird 17.0.3 and 17.0.3esr (Thunderbird for Organizations) on February 19, 2013. As a reminder starting with Thunderbird 17.0.2, Thunderbird is now following the branch numbering of Thunderbird 17.0esr instead of Firefox. Besides security fixes this release also includes a fix for issues removing attachments via the keyboard while composing (Bug 799451).
