Support for the ‘original’ IE Tab ended with Firefox 3.5 in June 2009. I believe it was through Go Firefox! I learned about IE Tab +. The extension not only supports Firefox 3.6 but also has an integrated version of AdBlock Plus that will work within the IE Tab. IE Tab + works with Firefox 3.6 and 4.0 (32-bit only). Update: 03/15/2011 IE Tab + (not to be confused with IE Tab Plus) supports Firefox 3.6 and newer
Before the next version of Firefox is released to the public it goes through months of testing. During this time several developmental builds are released for beta-testers, extension/plugin developers and anyone else who is brave enough to want to try using the new version. Looks like we are about ready to move the extensions review off the main ffextensionguru.com site over to the WIKI (ffextensionguru.com/wiki) this weekend. This is the last section to moved over to the WIKI. The main ffextensionguru.com site is mainly going to be a dynamic informational page. We will have our blog and twitter feeds along with the latest release information for the current three (3.5,3.6 and 3.7/4.0) versions of Firefox. We will also plan (time permitting) on updating the layout of the page to better accommodate the new and recently added features such as our Twitter Feed and Facebook…
For those of you who want an easy way to follow the 2010 World Cup scores, GoodReflex has developed a very simple World Cup 2010 Live Feeder extension. Clicking the soccer ball on the left will take you to the GoodReflex Blog. Note: This extension has not been reviewed by Mozilla so you will see a warning on the AMO page. You may still install the add-on. I have had…

As we are now a third of the way into June, still no updated release date for the upcoming Firefox 3.5/3.6 updates. Firefox 4.0 Beta 1 is still listed as tentative for June 24th. However, Firefox 3.7a5 is now on the list but as TBD. As you may recall Firefox 3.7 was going into the beta builds as Firefox 4.0, so this really is odd. I’ll check again Friday night when I get ready to post the Weekly Release Recap. There is some good news, Thunderbird 3.1RC2 came out on Wednesday ahead of schedule. Mozilla Messaging seems to be moving…
