Not really sure when this feature became live, but I just recently discovered the New Mail Notifier (slider) in TB 2.0 is now clickable. I discovered this by accident the other night when I got an e-mail while I was in Fx. Since I have Outhouse (Outlook) at work, out of habit I clicked on the slider when a message came in I wanted to view right away. Much to my surprise, doing this not only brought up TB but took me right to the message. I also realized, TB new mail notifier slider also works (has for a long…
I am really excited see this cool new feature in Fx 3 as it has been in OpenOffice.org for a while now! But, before I go into detail about what exactly are “Discontinuous Selections” I been meaning to follow-up on a feature I reported on early when Firefox 3.0a3 was Released. I found out more info (not good) about the “Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page” feature. Unfortunately, it was just as I suspected, those who have tried out this feature have quickly become annoyed and have ended up disabling it. There are too…
Today’s Firefox 3 Status meeting must have been fairly short, at least the notes were. There are now 19 (up 1 from last week) blockers (major bugs) for turning on bookmarks in Places. I was looking at my blog stats last night and was noticing that they were a bit high (not that I am complaining) for a Sunday evening. Then I noticed my top referrer was wordpress.com. Well that is odd and at the same time interesting. So I clicked the link as was taken to the main WordPress.com page and there it was: Click For Larger Image The feature was on the Red Pandas in the News story. So it does looks like this did bring quite a bit of traffic to the Blog, but that could also be related to…

Twelve-week-old red panda cubs Tenzin (held by zookeeper Lisa Abra at left) and Jishnu (held by Bobby-Jo Vial at right) are displayed to the media at Taranga Zoo on Wednesday. The term fire-fox, as used to describe the Red Panda, has been propagated by its use as the logo for the web browser Mozilla Firefox. The old Chinese designation of Red Panda as “fire fox“ refers to the Red Panda’s fur color, but its new firefox sanction as “the godfather of the browsers“ has caught on in China. – Wikipedia SYDNEY, Australia – Twin red pandas made their public debut…
