While I have always covered Thunderbird in the Firefox Extension Guru’s Blog, the Thunderbird content tends to get deeply buried beneath all the Firefox and general Mozilla posts. Just searching by the Thunderbird category brings up 233 entries, however only 74 of those posts pertained exclusively to Thunderbird. Mozilla has released the seventh stability and security update for the current Firefox 3 browser. For more information about What’s New in Firefox 3.0.7, check out the Release Notes. Current Firefox 3 users may obtain Firefox 3.0.7 manually via the Check for Updates… option from the Help menu. I have tried unsuccessfully for quite a while to have a background image in my TBird message signatures. Never really made sense why it would not work as the file looked fine in my HTML editor. Sure, I could add them into each message by going to Format >> Page Color and Backgrounds but that is a bit of pain to do each time I go to compose a message. I have just gone without having background images in my signature. A couple days ago I came across the article 10 must-have Thunderbird Addons (+ 25 more) which Gareon had…
