Happy New Years!!! Here’s to a wonderful 2007! I had plan on doing a year in review for The Firefox Extension Guru’s Blog. But there is one minor problem…the blog didn’t start until May! So, I’ll review the past 7 Blog months (May-December). I plan on having May, June, July and August up by late New Year’s Eve and September, October, November and December on New Years Day.

Thanks to Google Automatic Translation feature, I am pleased to announce the Firefox Extension Guru’s Blog is now available in these additional languages: Arabic* Simplified Chinese* French German Italian Japanese* Korean* Portuguese Russian* Spanish * Translation feature for these languages are still in BETA stage and may not yet be fully functional.

Once again I have changed the Blog’s theme and layout. This new theme is called Garland and also a three column design, but the content in is the center. Since this theme allows me to choose my own colors I had a chance to try out a cool color scheme finder. Ryan at CyberNet used this site: HTML Colour Code Combination Chooser, when he redid the CyberNet Blog around Thanksgiving. Couple other minor changes, the About The Guru and Disclaimer links are now in the header and some of the Feature Links graphics had to be changed due to size…

The famous words of Lieutenant Columbo…I have decided to add the ‘Archives’ widget into the left side-bar since this theme doesn’t seem to have the ability to go back to older entries from the main page.

On December 7th, WordPress introduced a new three-column theme called 2813 (Twenty-eight Thirteen) . Normally, I’ve not been a fan of these three-column themes, but my side-bar content has become quite lengthy in the past few weeks. Having the side-bar content broken-up and displayed in two columns does look better. Another neat feature of this theme is when you hover over a link it becomes highlighted….

Been busy with some other things (Opera 9.02 and Flock 0.7) the past couple days and I have not had a chance to review my regular tech news sites. Look for some new entries coming on Sunday, October 1st.
