The final Alpha build on the Gecko 1.9/Fx 3 branch has been released for testing purposes late yesterday. Some of the changes included with Firefox 3.0 Alpha 6 are:
- Updated SQLite engine to version 3.3.17
- Improved cookie performance
- Support for site-specific preferences – text size
- A new Quit dialog box that resolves termination errors
- Added permanent ‘Restart Firefox’ button to Add-Ons Manager
- Miscellaneous fixes to download manager including correctly displaying large file sizes
- Various Places fixes
- Miscellaneous Gecko 1.9 bug fixes
The next milestone is Beta 1 due out on or around July 31st.

Now, it is possible to add a keyword to a search engine (SearchWord extension), I like very much this tool :-).
It is possible that this function was added in a previous alpha, but I don’t remember, because I force SearchWord to install in all my Profiles.
